What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is based on labor and time. Some pricing can be adjusted based on finish choices. However, I only deliver fully finished spaces, not repair work. Bathrooms start at $45,000. When comparing bids, please make sure your bid includes ALL of these if you expect a finished space. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Meeting to determine scope of work & timeline Sign contract & deposit Begin date established based on materials & subcontractor schedules Work and discuss obstacles/ change orders as the arise. Final payment at completion of work and permits being closed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Design Degree from Ohio State Licensed Oregon realtor since 2006 Flipping & remodeling since 2011.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started before I even owned a house. I'm sure my 1st landlord either loved or hated me for stripping paint off natural wood and painting stripes on the walls. I've come a long way since then. With a future buyer in mind, I can offer a different perspective to make a cohesive design for your home. I look at the style, architecture and combine that with the vision you'd like to accomplish.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I prefer to have parameters on $$, time and to be on the same page as far as design goes. Not everyone will be a good fit and it’s up to us to determine if we have the same priorities in mind to ensure a successful outcome.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Last year I removed an old tub and transformed it into a curbless entry shower and added a niche & bench. My client was in need of proper framing should she want grab bars in the future and a bench to sit on. We moved the fixture controls and added a quartz bench that matched the niche and a beautiful glass door. Who knew at the time I’d end up doing 4 more of these😳. Really glad I took on her project and she was patient enough to work through all the details to make her bathroom perfect!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your homework. Make sure you understand what you're getting for the price. Some bids will be expensive and include everything to be 100% finished. Some bids will allow you to finish to save money & time(i.e. paint). Make sure you understand what you're getting and who is responsible for providing what.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you have an idea of what you want? Do you have any restrictions? Do you need to remodel your ONLY bathroom? Will you be living onsite while work is going on? What is your timeline? What is your budget?
